TITLE: DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY SERVICES

DEFINITION OF WORK:

This is an administrative, management, coordination, and supervisory position. You will be responsible for the operations of the Cameron County Office of Emergency Services including emergency management programs, 911 programs, hazardous materials programs, and the county communication systems. Work is carried out with a high degree of independent judgement and discretion. Work is reviewed through various programmatic reviews through the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) and reports to the Cameron County Commissioners. The position involves handling on-call matters for the county and 24-hour availability by pager, radio and/or telephone.

Starting wage will be $40,000 per year commensurate with experience.

CASEWORKER 1 VACANCY

Cameron County Children and Youth Services has an opening for a full-time County Caseworker position. Caseworkers provide a range of case management services to children and families to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Salary: $32,000 (with a $2,000 increase upon completion of training and promotion to Caseworker 2)

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree which includes, or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences OR a combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences, and one year of experience performing paraprofessional case management functions.
