Public Notice

The recent mitigation orders issued require businesses to prohibit non-essential visitors from entering the premises.  This order applies to governmental operation, therefore, effective immediately, access will be restricted to all County Offices.  The Courthouse will remain open for essential business BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (Main door will be locked).  Emergencies will be dealt with on a case by case basis.  Persons entering the courthouse will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire and be temperature screened prior to admittance.  Other existing mitigation measure such as social distancing and facial coverings are still required.

Unless otherwise ordered, these restrictions do not apply to court operations.  Any restrictions or changes to court operations will be communicated through the 59th Judicial District.  The latest Administrative Order is posted on the COVID-19 link under documents.  It is also posted on the Main Door of the Cameron County Courthouse.

A complete list of offices with employees, phone and e-mail addresses is available on the COVID-19 link on the home page, and also posted on the Main Door of the Cameron County Courthouse.
